Did you know that only about 16 percent of founders are female?
We think it’s time to finally change that! With the Female Founder Pitch, we want to offer female founders a stage to present themselves and their company and increase their visibility. Accompanied by vision: 25 to 25. Our long-term goal is to increase the quota of women in the startup scene from the current 16 percent to 25 percent by 2025.
The initiator and organizer
The event is initiated and organized by Dr. Irène Kilubi, she is Limited Partner at the Business Angel Network GoBeyond and as Founder and Managing Director of brand Preneurs & brand Fluencers she supports the global startup scene in her activities as mentor and coach at Techstars, European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) Health Accelerator, InsurTech Hub and as a juror at BayStartup, the African Leadership Award, in the Advisory Board of Women in AI, and the Advisory Board of Ignite Mental Health.
She is also an Expert Advisor for the European Innovation Council Accelerator of the European Commission. She also moderates the Cashwalk and It’s a Co-Founder Match events for German Entrepreneurship GmbH.
Our strategic partner
Strategic partner is primeCROWD with the Female Investors Network (FIN) of Svenja Lassen, Managing Director Germany. She founded FIN 2020 for knowledge transfer for active as well as prospective female business angels.
The goal is to make the startup ecosystem more diverse and to sustainably increase the share of female investors and founders. To this end, Svenja also acts as a speaker, mentor and coach at startup programs and accelerators.
