Gemeinsam mit Ashoka und Bits & Pretzels laden wir euch zu „Countdown zur Wahl: Die Zukunft der Demokratie“ ein – einem Abend voller Impulse, spannender Diskussionen und neuer Perspektiven.
Drei Speaker werden aufzeigen, wie sie als Sozialunternehmer und Sozialunternehmerinnen mit innovativen und wirksamen Ansätzen unsere Demokratie stärken – und welche Rolle wir als Bürgerinnen und Bürger und Zivilgesellschaft dabei übernehmen können:
- Christiana Bukalo – Gründerin von Statefree, setzt sich für die Rechte staatenloser Menschen ein und zeigt auf, warum Teilhabe nicht für alle selbstverständlich ist – und welche Auswirkungen das auf unsere Demokratie hat.
- Anna-Lena von Hodenberg – Mitbegründerin von HateAid und Expertin für digitale Gewalt spricht darüber, wie Hass im Netz die Demokratie bedroht – und was wir dagegen tun können.
- Dr. Maximilian Oehl – Gründer von Media Force und der Initiative Brand New Bundestag, gibt Einblicke, wie Parteien in sozialen Medien Wahlkampf führen und dadurch die politische Meinungsbildung beeinflussen.

Together with Ashoka and Bits & Pretzels, we invite you to “Countdown to the Election: The Future of Democracy” – an evening full of impulses, exciting discussions and new perspectives.
Three speakers will show how they, as social entrepreneurs, are strengthening our democracy with innovative and effective approaches – and what role we as citizens and civil society can play in this:
- Christiana Bukalo – founder of Statefree, advocates for the rights of stateless people and shows why participation is not a given for everyone – and what impact this has on our democracy.
- Anna-Lena von Hodenberg – co-founder of HateAid and expert on digital violence talks about how hate online threatens democracy – and what we can do about it.
- Dr. Maximilian Oehl – founder of Media Force and the Brand New Bundestag initiative, gives insights into how parties campaign on social media and thereby influence political opinion.
