As a business angel, investments span a diverse range of deeptech and early-stage startups, including AI, robotics, in-ovo sexing, sensor technology (used in the NBA and Soccer World Cup), and water guns. His startups have attracted follow-on investmetns from leading investors such as A16z, Tiger Global, 83 North, Creandum, Red Bull, BMW iVentures and others. Hands-on support helps startups secure early customers, refine sales strategies, and attract investors.
Previously served as Managing Director at Vodafone Kabel Deutschland Kundenbetreuung, playing a key role in scaling the business, leading it through a successful IPO and a €11 billion acquisition by Vodafone. Led the DeepTech Incubator XPRENEURS in Munich, mentoring some of Germany’s most promising tech startups.
Regularly shares knowledge as a guest lecturer in Sales at Stanford GSB and Stanford SEED and TU Munich’s EMBA program and is the author of two books on startup financing and B2B sales and a public speaker, providing practical insights for founders.
Holds degrees in law and journalism (University of Hamburg), public administration (Harvard Kennedy School), and management (MIT Sloan), along with executive education from Stanford (SEP), bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to startup growth and investment.
